About Us

The Gaffney Church Family

Our fellowship is a newly-formed church plant sponsored by the Spartanburg, SC, Seventh-day Adventist Church.  We would be pleased to have you join us for Bible study and worship at one of the church events listed on our Home website page or the Calendar page.

The members of the Gaffney SDA Church are passionate about reaching out to meet the needs of our Gaffney neighbors, sharing the good news of a risen and returning Savior, and demonstrating the love that God has bestowed on each and every one of us with the people of Gaffney and Cherokee County.

We believe what Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40 where He in essence said to love God completely and love your neighbor as yourself.  Then in John 14:15 Jesus said what love for God included, namely, to keep My commandments, not from a legalistic viewpoint, but as God’s prescription to live an abundant life.  And to avoid deception, Jesus said in Matthew 15:9, “In vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” NASB
